Shaun T’s INSANITY MAX 30 workout is a fantastic new addition in the Beachbody HIIT collection.  It’s shorter, but more effective than the original Insanity workouts. Don’t get me wrong, I still love and often do Pure Cardio, Insane Abs and other Insanity classics, but I just find Max 30 gets me pumped and gasping for air a tad faster.

Who Benefits From Insanity Max 30?

Insanity Max 30’s level is higher than the Insanity workout program so you’ll be pushed to your limit every single day.  It’s advisable to get yourself physically and mentally prepared for the battle. That’s what I have done by playing loads more squash.

I’m guessing not everyone will be fully prepped for the Insanity Max 30 workout program.  The required exercise will be so intense, and it might cause some injuries for beginners.  Even for people who have been working out for quite some time like me, this program is very challenging.  It took more than a week before I was able to fully adjust to the routine.

The Insanity Max 30 Workout is most suitable for the following people:

  • People who are in decent health and have an active lifestyle
  • People who have completed the Beachbody Insanity Program
  • People who are very serious about losing weight and are very determined to go into an intensive exercise program.

What You Should Expect From Insanity Max 30?

A fully intense 30-minute workout, every time!  That is what you should expect the moment you begin the Insanity Max 30 workout.  Unless you follow the Ab Maximizer Workout Calendar, that intermittently allows you to have an additional 10 to 15 minute core workout, then brace yourself for what could possibly be the most challenging workout in your life.  Shaun T introduces a new concept that is called “Maxing Out”.  This means that you are required to work as hard as you can for as long as you can.  Just keep going until your body asks you to stop to catch your breath!  You’ll certainly feel a deep burning sensation in your muscles.  Here’s the most important part, you’ll have to record how many times you’ve had a rest for the entire workout.  This is for benchmarking your milestones for the following days.

Insanity Max 30 Workout Benefits

Unlike many other exercise programs, the Insanity Max 30 does not require you to purchase other equipment.  For the most part, you are expected to rely on your body weight.  Then, you have to provide enough resistance for building and strengthening your targeted muscle groups.  Thus, your metabolism will rev up.  You’ll basically need a DVD player for you to stay amused, and of course, adequate space for exercise.  Simple, practical and effective…who doesn’t want that?

Here’s the big “BUT” though…   Follow the program consistently to get your desired results.  This is where the Insanity Max workout will be strikingly similar to the other effective programs I have tried.  Give it time, dedication and you’ll certainly be satisfied with the results.  For me, I saw visible results in less than 2 weeks.  Again, results will vary, since we don’t have the same food and beverage intake.  What Shaun T encourages everyone to do is just to keep doing it, again and again and again!  Remember, this is not just the Insanity Workout, it is the Insanity Max that pushes you to the limit.

The Convenience Of Max 30

As mentioned above, Insanity Max 30 can be done in your home or in a place with enough space, and this is a highly valued feature for most people who are busy running the rat race.  For the first month, there will only be 30 minutes and that will go up until the second month with 45 minutes.  Again, let me stress out on consistency. This ultimately boils down to you, motivating yourself, no matter how tired or stressed out you are.   

Here are some reminders for those who would like to try out the Insanity Max workout.  It would be best to read all the safety instructions before you begin this program.  Also try consulting a dietician or nutritionist to be better guided on a diet plan that will be well suited for an intense program such as this.  Never be too complacent, your safety is still your utmost priority.
