The mind-body connection is still being studied today, but no one can argue that to be completely happy, you need to take care of your physical, emotional, and spiritual needs, which all of us have. The Headspace meditation app allows you to enjoy dozens of features for one low price. Subscriptions start as low as $6 per month, and they are currently running a special that allows unemployed individuals to enjoy the app for free for a full year.

Headspace offers the following features:

  • Expert guidance from the founder of the app, a former monk
  • Hundreds of guided meditations for all purposes
  • Short meditations for people on the go

Can Beginners Engage in it?

The Headspace meditation app can be utilized and enjoyed by anyone, including beginners. In fact, the app even has a 10-day course made specifically for beginners, which means you don’t have to be shy just because you’ve never participated in meditation before because the course makes it easy to step right in and start meditating – all with the app’s help, of course. Feeling more relaxed and prepared for life has never been easier than it is now, and after this course is completed, they’ll help you to find yet another simple, effective way to meditate.

You can’t truly be happy unless certain needs are met – needs that each and every one of us has. We need to be fit, not just physically, but emotionally as well, and that’s exactly what this meditation app helps you achieve. Plus, you can access all of their many features on a computer, tablet, and of course, your cell phone. You also get a different meditation to follow each day, exercises to help you relax at bedtime so you can fall asleep faster, sleep sounds that help you drift off to sleep while listening to soothing sounds, and a full library with courses on every topic imaginable related to spiritual, physical, and emotional health.

A Few Other Important Perks

If all this weren’t enough, Headspace offers inspiring stories that help with a lot of different issues, including relationships issues; articles on topics such as power napping, meditation 101, breathing exercises that help reduce stress, mindful eating, and how to use meditation to help with weight loss; a “move mode” that helps you combine exercise and meditation for the best results; and much, much more. In fact, there isn’t a lot that this app does not offer, and you can even try it for free for up to two full weeks, meaning you have absolutely nothing to lose by giving it a shot.

Headspace is truly an amazing app for those who want to make sure every part of their overall health gets the attention it needs and deserves. Even if you’re going through a stressful situation, it isn’t too late to improve your mind and body, and Headspace makes every step of the process much easier on your part.

In fact, when you think about it, Headspace is much more than just a drab application that provides you with a lot of different meditations. It also provides you with practical, hands-on solutions to a lot of different aspects of your mental and physical health, and combining all of them to get great results is a piece of cake.

  1. Ever since this global pandemic, I have to say that it does effect my mental health tremendously. So, I am currently on the look out for the apps that can help me with that. Thanks for your review on headspace. I do see the poster on the NYC subway here and there and wonder of it works or not.

As a buddhist, I have to say that I am a shitty meditator. I am always distracted by all these thoughts. I am currently practicing Vipassana. We will see maybe I can learn better tricks from this app. Will check it out.

    1. Headspace is a great app and you can sample it for a week or two. They’ve included a lot more features in the their latest update so you’re getting even more for your subscription.

  2. Wow, this looks like a very good application that is worth the shot. At this kind of time when the world is out on a shut down and everyone is urged to lockdown, we need to have our brains and imoorve our mental health. I see that one can even try for free first before any payment at all which is a really good thing. I have to sign up for this already.

  3. It was awesome coming across your article today. I have used Headspace now for almost 4 years and I am absolutely thankful to have come across it way back then. While Headspace was awesome from the beginning, they have done a remarkable job of making it even better. I especially like the morning wake up vids which immediately put you in a relaxed state of mind. For anyone looking to find or include even just a few minutes of peace in their daily routine I would highly recommend it.

    1. I agree, all it takes is a few minutes everyday to bring about a calmer, more meditative version of yourself. Headspace is part of my morning routine and I really miss it on those rare occasions when I can’t do it due to some kind of crazy commitment.
